BTS's Jin voted top choice for Korea's tourism ambassador

BTS member Jin has been voted the star most suitable for promoting Korea as a tourism ambassador, securing the top spot in a recent survey.


The poll, conducted by Idol Chart from the 3rd to the 9th, asked, "Which star is suitable as a tourism ambassador promoting Korea?" Jin garnered 42,533 votes out of a total of 86,175, claiming approximately 49% of the total votes.


In second place was Song Ga-in, who received 35,287 votes (around 41%). The following ranks included My Jin (1,794 votes), BTS RM (1,302 votes), Hongja (785 votes), G-Dragon (699 votes), Jang Min-ho (613 votes), 2PM Jun-ho (542 votes), Fromis 9 (514 votes), Kang Daniel (430 votes), Son Tae-jin (415 votes), IU (295 votes), Park Seo-jin (258 votes), Kim Yo-han (256 votes), Lee Moo-jin (152 votes), Psy (148 votes), Stray Kids (76 votes), Le Sserafim (37 votes), Cravity (27 votes), and Rowoon (12 votes).

 

The full results of the survey can be found in the 'POLL' menu on the Idol Chart website. Currently, another survey is underway asking, "Hot summer, which star would you like to see on the Water Bomb stage?"

 

Meanwhile, all members of BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) are fulfilling their military service obligations. 

 

Jin, the first BTS member to enlist, is serving as an army trainer and is scheduled to be discharged on December 12th. 

The group plans to resume full activities in 2025 when all members have completed their service.
