Taemin picks Seventeen's Hoshi as the most promising Kpop junior artist

SHINee's Taemin has mentioned that he admires Seventeen's Hoshi as a junior artist. Taemin revealed this during a press conference for his fourth new mini-album, "Guilty," held in Seoul's Gwangjin District on October 30.

When asked about a junior artist he's keeping an eye on as a senior, Taemin responded with a smile, saying, "Hoshi from SEVENTEEN. He's a great dancer, and he's a big fan of mine."

Taemin also mentioned that he and Hoshi have already taken part in the "Guilty" challenge and have discussed the possibility of working on a song together. He shared, "We've casually talked about collaborating and featuring in each other's music. It's a lighthearted conversation, but I'm genuinely excited about it."

This marks Taemin's return to solo activities after a 2-year, 5-month hiatus due to his military service. He enlisted shortly after releasing his third mini-album, "Advice," in 2021, and completed his military service in April this year.

The title track of Taemin's new mini-album, "Guilty," is a dynamic song characterized by a grand sound created by a 30-piece string section and synth elements. The song is known for its catchy and unique beats and straightforward lyrics about a selfish form of love.
