Seventeen and TWICE lead K-pop concert revenues globally over the past six months AKP STAFF
The top group Seventeen and K-pop's leading girl group TWICE have each achieved the highest revenue among K-pop boy and girl groups in the global concert market over the past six months.
According to Billboard's semi-annual Boxscore report (covering October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024) released on the 30th of last month (local time), Seventeen ranked the highest among K-pop artists.
During the reporting period, Seventeen attracted approximately 552,000 spectators over 18 performances, generating ticket sales of $67.5 million (about 93.4 billion KRW).
Last year, Seventeen demonstrated their ticket power by holding their largest-ever five-dome tour in Japan since their debut, followed by stadium tours in Bangkok, Bulacan, and Macau. Including fan meetings and online live streaming audiences, Seventeen met over 1 million fans, known as 'CARATs,' throughout the year.
